If you are new to Des Moines, Iowa, the Newcomers Compass Club wants to make your relocation easier!  Our organization strives to aid in your move here by introducing you to the community and providing activities and social events to help in that process.

Newcomers Compass Club is also open to established members of the community who, for whatever reason, feel they would like to broaden the scope of their activities and widen their social circle.

We’ve been helping neighbors for almost 100 years and currently have approximately 300 members.  Our members connect with each other at luncheons, coffees, game groups, service projects, sports functions, and special interest groups.  We can help guide you through your newest adventure…establishing yourself in the Des Moines area...or, if you are an established resident, simply finding new friends.
